The jet helmet has a long visor that protects your face against draft and most of the cold. Besides the long standard visor the jet helmet also has a removable internal sun visor that is easy to operate. No trouble changing visors or putting on your sunglasses, just one simple move deploys the sunvisor. The AGV K-5 is made of a strong carbon fiber mix. Because of this the helmet offers optimal protection, whilst maintaining a low weight. The helmet lessens the pressure on your neck muscles, improving your concentration. AGV

AGV (Amisano Gino Valenza) is an Italian helmet fabricator and has been founded in 1946 by Gino Amisano. Although the company first made saddles, they already started producing helmets in 1947. Between 1947 and 2007 the company grew out to be a world renown brand. Thanks to a take-over in 2007 AGV remained in Italian hands.
As a company, AGV is best known thanks to MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi and Giacomo Agostini. Both drivers have been wearing AGV helmets throughout their careers.
